Individual CNC Mill
Starting off with the Idea for the brake bracket from the designs and then creating them in Inverter. first I started off with a 2d sketch then worked on creating the outline for the shape of the part. after doing that I started to add the circles for the holes and cutting the excesses parts that were not needed. while doing this I sized each of the lines to match the parts on the design. Then after finishing the 2d sketch extruding the whole part. after that i created a second sketch to raise the circles to the right height and extruded the sketch. Next I cut the flat part on each of the 2 circles and cutting them to size. Finally transferring the file to fusion 360 and changing the settings to match the bit in the mill. after that creating a tool path for the mill to follow then saving to my flash drive and using the mill to create the brake bracket.
During this project I learned how to use Fusion 360 and how to create a tool path and also leaned new tools for Inverter. I also learned how to set up the mill and to jog the mill into the starting point. In total I leaned a lot of new tools and using them to create the brake bracket.
